£1200 will be plenty depending on your spending habits.
Eating out can be made really cheap by hopping on a dolmus and stopping at one of the Turkish restaurants on the Ataturk Bulvari (main road toward the town, Yenihisar). I recommend Saray, Alo 24, Soffra.

We have just spent 2 weeks in Akbuk near Didim, we have a villa there, we only spent maximum £600. Eating out is reasonable, just depends on how often you will eat in or out. _________________ Garanphill
